"Sou rei!"

Como uma curiosa inveterada, principalmente no que diz respeito às formas de vida que existiram e existem no nosso planeta, alguns de meus filmes prediletos foram Jurassic Park I e II (mas é bom ignorar os excessos contidos). Mas o que quero mesmo aproveitar desse filme aqui, é a frase escrita como subtítulo, dita pelo personagem criador do parque dos dinossauros ao constatar que os animais estavam se reproduzindo na natureza mesmo sendo do mesmo sexo. E, hoje, ao receber um e-mail, essa foi a frase que surgiu em minha mente.

A ganância pelo progresso econômico não permite à humanidade enxergar as consequências de seus atos, ou pelos menos é o que parece. Numa batalha desigual, o ser humano destrói os recursos naturais insanamente e segue condenando sua própria sobrevivência.

A foto ao lado, feita pelo fotógrafo amador Leandro Barcellos, é um espécime da árvore símbolo do Brasil, o Ipê Amarelo. Você deve estar se perguntando se não seria um poste. Sim, é um poste, mas é uma árvore... Entendeu?! Ops! Vamos lá!

O Ipê foi cortado e transformado em poste para suporte da rede elétrica em Porto Velho, capital de Rondônia. O que ninguém contava é que, mesmo depois de toda a violência humana, do poder destruidor de uma motosserra, o rei se rebelaria contra a condenação injusta, se muniria de novas raízes e voltaria a reinar absoluto com a característica peculiar que lhe deu o honroso título, suas flores amarelas imponentes.

Considerando seu ato guerreiro, decidiram transferir a rede elétrica para um poste de concreto instalado ao lado, deixando o Ipê reinar livre dos fios.

Assim é a natureza, pode demorar a responder às nossas ações, mas não falha. Às vezes, é imediata, intrigante ou mesmo desafiadora. O que precisamos é saber interpretá-la e o mais importante, entender que não somos os protagonistas, fazemos parte de um time de coadjuvantes totalmente dependente dela.

As curious an inveterate one, mainly in what it says respect to the life forms that had existed and exist in our planet, some of my favourite films had been Jurassic Park I and II (but it is good for ignoring the contained excesses). But what I exactly want to use to advantage here of this film, it is the written phrase as sub-heading, said for the creative personage of the park of the dinossaurs when evidencing that the animals were if reproducing in the same nature being of the same sex. 

Today, when receiving an email, this was the phrase that appeared in my mind. The greed for the economic progress does not allow the humanity to perceive the consequences of its acts, or for little it is what it seems. In a different battle, the human being destroys the natural resources insanely and follows condemning its proper survival. 

The photo above, made for the amateur photographer Leandro Barcellos, is a specimen of the tree symbol of Brazil, the Yellow Ipê. You must be if asking if it would not be a pole. Yes, it is a pole, but it is a tree… It understood! Ops! We go there! 

The Ipê was cut and transformed into pole for support of the electric net in Porto Velho, Rondônia-Brazil. What nobody counted is that, same after all the violence human being, of the annihilating power of one axe, the king if would rebel against the unjust conviction, if it would arm of new roots and it would come back to reign absolute with the peculiar characteristic that gave the honroso heading to it, its imponent yellow flowers.

Considering its warlike act, they had decided to transfer to the electric net to a pole of installed concrete to the side, leaving the Ipê to reign free of wires. 

Thus it is the nature, can delay to answer to our actions, but it does not fail. To the times, she is immediate, intriguing or exactly challenging. What we need is to know to interpret it and most important, to understand that we are not the protagonists, we are part of a teams of coadjuvantes dependent of it.
